Mind you, we picked as gender neutral as possible to re-use for future children... BUT, I will be purchasing one of THESE for more gender specific touch (specifically the "caboodle set") . I'm also getting one of THESE. Now don't think I'm spending a ton of money.. when I got a pair of maternity pants from Motherhood, they gave me 3 coupons each for a free item... 1 carseat cover, one sling, and one nursing cover. They are all sister sites, so its a great deal!

did you get the good deal on those carseats covers?? i ordered 2 for 36$ cause i bought an udder cover and tehy gave me a coupon code for the carseat covers. so i bought one boy one one girl...just so i have both. I have that same pack and play and i love it...I leave it set up in my living room and baby naps in it sometmes and i change on it too if i dont want to go to the bedroom. I also have the same type swing...I like it cause it has the option to swing both ways. And the only link that didnt work was the crib. I think i may have also heard those slings are crappy...but i cant member if it was that brand or what the link wont come up so i cant see the site...

ok yeah the slings are the crappy ones i would read some reviews before you buy one of those ones. But i did receive one of my carseat covers already and its really pretty, one is still on back order...not taht i need it anytime soon anyways

The cupons I got were for one FREE of each... so I already ordered a neutral nursing cover. I don't think I'll get the sling b/c I'm not a tiny girl, and the carseat cover (i'm getting the package that has the minky blanket and cover PLUS the little cover up) I will get for like $45 (after a $50 discount). I am wanting the lavender one (praying for a girl) but I also like the electric blue one too. SO, either way, I don't think its a bad deal to make my car seat more gender specific while still allowing it to be reused  

Yeah, those slings are smurf I heard. But if you're into covering while nursing I'm sure the covers are fine... and I doubt anythings wrong with the car seat covers.


I think I'm only going to get a car seat/stroller, crib, swing, rocking chair, and a beco butterfly carrier. I didn't use a play pen with Maddy... and won't need a high chair for 6+ months. I got all her clothes (which are gender neutral), a boppy, diapers, and crib sheets. I plan to make more diapers as well as wipes and breast pads.

I didn't cover while nursing with my son, my my husband insists "not everyone needs to see my tits" ... whatever, its natural and its human nature... people can get the hell over it. If I don't care, why do you?

i ordered the belle(lavender minky with swirls on front) and the maddox one for the boy(its black with like a bright blue minky)
the whole little deal was cheap when i was on there too but apparently you arent supposed to use the cover that goes over the part where they sit...so really youd only be using the little blanket its quite small and then the cover thing that you can get seperately. Ive boughten 2 of the breastfeeding covers. I believe i got them for like 12$ they sell the same ones in a baby boutique here for 29$ i had to laugh.

Lol. Im kinda opposite. it is natural yes..but i do cover just for other peoples sake and my own. I dont really like my boob hanging out for the world to see. And well i have no problem with breastfeeding in public sometimes i dont wanan see someones boob right there in my face. LOL. Usually people are pretty discreet when they arent using a cover but you get the ones that just dont give a smurf at all and just let it all hang out while they are like not even feeding anymore.

It is a foot! I also have a pic of both little feet together!  . Love baby feet! Haha

Omgosh I've been crying the last 4 weeks straight. Lol. I watched the new Greys anatomy tonight and bawled like a baby. Lol. Dh thinks I'm a nutcase.

I see many of you are buying things already or at least looking at things to buy. My baby girl is barely going on 11 months so I have all her things and clothes that don't fit so if it is another girl all I will need is another car seat and a double stroller, and maybe another crib or bassinet. But no clothes cuz I have a lot of very good clothes from Emily. But if its a boy I will have to buy everything.

Btw if I pay for an ultrasound at the Drs office could they tell me the gender if I am between 14-16 wks by then.
