re: OFFICIAL JULY 2013 THREAD (pt. 2)

We have a 2br house but we also technically have two living rooms... so one's used for a living room and the other (that's between the bedrooms) is a play room. I'm not taking that away for a baby... especially since I want to BF and it'd be easier to cosleep to do that (we did it for our daughter and it was sooo nice). I'm side caring the crib to make it easier.

Hopefully by the time the baby's big enough for it's own room we'll be buying a house and it'll have a min. of 3 brs. Considering we coslept with our daughter until 3... we got some time. LOL I doubt we'll cosleep that long with this baby though.

Phuket: Didn't know you knew you were having a girl yet! Congrats.   If we have a boy we have a lot more shopping to do than if we have a girl.

Yayyy its soo exciting to see that many are already finding out the gender congrats to you mommas. I can't wait to find out what I am having,,,my mom said she dreamed of a little boy.

yeah i finally just took down the christmas tree yesterday. We moved all our boxes and stuff downstairs to under the stairs, and covered the couches and treadmill with a tarp and the guy is supposed to be coming early next week to do the mudding and taping and then we can get it painted, pick flooring and then soon after my oldest can move to her room down there, and i can start buying stuff...All i need is furniture cause i kept everything else from my last one. Big money saver

So because I have to go so often for ultrasounds, DH can't always come. I've been having my cousin who I'm pretty close with come to them with me. Last time when I showed my dad the ultrasound pictures, he seemed confused about how they could tell the genders. I talked to DH and decided I would invite my dad to come to the next one and see the whole ultrasound process rather than just the pictures. I brought it up to him yesterday and he acted all disgusted haha.

I didn't think it was that weird to invite him, but was it? lol

LOL, im not sure i would ever invite my dad. but i dont find it weird either. Maybe he thinks you are like naked or something. Maybe he is picturing it differant than what it really is. haha

Well his first response was "I don't want to go in when they put something IN you." I corrected him and let him know it was all abdominal but he didn't say anything else. I was just like "it's just an invite, you don't have to do it." lol

yeah i figured maybe he thought it was the one that goes inside lol...your poor father haha. Well let us know what he decides   it would be cool for him to see thats for sure.

I definitely thought he'd be more interested because he's always asking questions on what he's looking at and how we know certain things. I know ultrasound has come a way since he saw me on one, which I actually have, I should scan it and show it on here sometime.

My parents are divorced and I haven't talked to my mom in over 12 years now so he and I are pretty close. He adores my DH because he never got a son and he actually likes him. We just thought including him would be a nice gesture but I guess we'll see on the 23rd what he decides lol.

Nope. I don't know yet and won't know until February 27th if baby cooperates. This one never seems to stop moving! I was just saying I have never seen a gender ultrasound for girl as clear as my daughter's. Never.

We own a 3 br house. Right now we have our room, Leila's room and a computer room. The computer will come in our room to make the nursery. I like to co-sleep for 2 months with naps in the crib so we definitely need the crib and a baby's room.

you sound like me...i dont co-sleep like with baby in my bed but they do stay in the bassinet for 2-3 months at night and naps i put baby in their crib to get them used to that as well. Then around 3 monthsish i move them to their crib. never had a problem, and my kids all sleep like angels and go to sleep so well. Ive been very lucky!

We rent a 3 bedroom house and we are running out of room! My 5 y/o and 3 y/o share a room with bunk beds and my 14 month old has his own room. We wont be able to get a bigger place for another year. I usually have the bassinet right next to my bed for 2-3 months anyways.. After that who knows!


Anyone else feeling relief from m/s? I dont even feel pregnant anymore and have been second guessing whether I am feeling baby move or not. ( 15 weeks along) My next appt isnt for 3 weeks, but Im thinking about getting a doppler asap just so I can be reassured.

im feeling much better now. Pretty normal most days but i do get the odd day where im like like blahhh and feel a bit sick but nothing like before. I can still do stuff and get around easily.

I don't think it's weird. I thought about inviting my dad to the anatomy scan.. I'd have to assure him I'd be fully dressed, though. lol

I have another appt tomorrow! I get to see my little bean again! I haven't been very nauseas the past week, but I feel like crap today. :/ anyways, let's hope the little bean is good and cozy and has a strong heartbeat!  

And on the house discussion, we have a 3 bedroom house. The boys share a room and Kylee has her own until we get Addie out of our bed. But we have a full basement that we are going to Finish this year (hopefully lol). So we should have plenty of room when we get that done! Before we bought this house, we rented a 3 bedroom double wide. So we were super cramped! I feel like we have SO much more room now. The kids rooms are huge! Lol. Baby will sleep with us, so we aren't really doing a nursery thing. I'm hoping Addie will start sleepong in the room with Kylee before the new baby gets here. But she is stubborn, so who knows?'. Lol
