I was so stressed last time bc of all the people in the room. This time I'm telling everyone they are welcome to come - and sit in the waiting room! They'll be disappointed, but not as much as I will be if things go the way they did last time. I want just DH and I in the labor and recovery room, then I'll send him to get Ava so she can meet baby before everyone else. They're welcome to crowd into the post partum room, though, so long as everything goes ok. Can't promise I'll be good with sharing, though, since I didn't get to see or hold DD the day she was born.

I know exactly what you mean! It was so frustrating to be laying in bed on my back in pain- With a bunch of people standing around me having conversations about random crap and asking when I was going to progress more. I was, am still, So upset that they were so many people there.
That's a great idea to have them in the waiting room. If I were going to the hospital this time, that's what I would do  

When I had DS I didn't even tell people when we went to the hospital to be induced. My dad happened to call me as we were leaving the house so I told him, but he's great with boundaries so he didn't even ask to come visit until the next day. I was still in labor but he came to bring DH some food and drop off some gifts.

It wasn't until we were in postpartum that all hell broke loose with randoms showing up uninvited haha.

So i got my insurance switched but its not effective till Feb. 1st. my Appt is Feb 5th at 115... sucks that i probably wont get my anatomy scan until the end of Feb! grrr... im gonna be one of the last ones to find out!

but i have been thinking its a girl this whole time.. idk if i had a dream or something last night and dont remeber but for somereason BOY just hit me. lol
we will see i guess!

BTW it took 3 calls on hold for 17 minutes each time to get through to someone. but it was easy enough to switch i suppose!

I'm doing good. Just was super busy with the holidays that I really didn't have a chance to get on here much and I got more hours for those 2 weeks so that made my time even less on here. I go in today for my pap...eww haha I'm hoping that I can hear the heart beat or maybe get an ultrasound on the old machine that my drs office has.

Other than baby stuff we're trying to find a place to live that we both agree on haha a new vehicle that we both agree on, and packing up where we live now. How long are you going to be on bed rest for?

Why did you switch your insurance?

You won't be the last one to find out, I don't get to find out till March. I'm hoping I can find out on my birthday. Since by my calculations I'll be 21 weeks and a few days, but by their's I will be 20 weeks and a day I believe.

well since i had to get medicaid you have to choose what company you want to go with, and i chosed the blue cross blue shield because my midwife and hopsital took it the one with the natural labor floor that i REALLY wantt to deliver at.. well they gave me presbyterian which is for a different hospital and my midwife doesnt except them. i called them and got it switched to Blue cross like i origianally said. but it wont be effect till the 1st.. bummy.

I won't find out the gender until the middle of March

yeah you wont be the last one. I get my last u/s when im 20 weeks. But i wont find out till july what the sex is...so your def not the last one lol

Oh that's not to bad. At least it's Feb and not like April or something. That's how our state insurance is. Luckily, when they split ours in 2 about 4 years ago I picked Bridgeway Health Solutions over the Phoenix Health Plan so I got re-enrolled in that this time around again. It's the best out of the 2 for where I live in the state.

No clue how long I'll be on bed rest. I'm already bored out of my mind. I am normally very active, and this is giving me cabin fever.

I don't find out until February 27th and I am due before you! So don't worry, you won't be alone.

Oh no!! Well I hope that you don't have to be on it for long!! I was on it for a weekend and it was horrible, I couldn't imagine being on it for longer.
