My doctor's appt went ok yesterday. Got to hear baby's heartbeat but it took forever to find. I recorded it so Chris could hear since he was at work. I go back in a couple weeks for a nuchal translucency screening...which means another peek at baby, yay!

Woke up sick today...fever, sore throat, runny nose. Since the doctor gave me a list of ok medicines to take, i am thinking about taking it and paying a visit to the store for some relief before work.

Yay for heartbeat! I had to get an updated medicine list at my last appointment, too. I've been so congested since I got pregnant it's really getting to me, I've lost a lot of sleep. I hope you get to feeling better!

She's MIA again, but she's prob fine. I know she was seen in the ER last week and they got her all fixed up.

You will love it!! We have front loading super capacity ones and I can wash like 27 towels at once. It's awesome!

So my mmidwife office called me to tell me medicaid picked an insurance compay they wont take..
so i cant go to my appt today. bummer..

ive been on hold for 16 minutes on the office to see why the put on me on a different company than i asked.. i REALLY REALLY want to keep that midwife so i can deliver at that hospital and have a water birth.. FML. im pissed

she said i could self pay but i have to pay BEFORE im seen. or go find another doctor in the meantime.. i told that would be pointless for to rush into finding a doctor to pee in a cup and listen to aHB and stuff.

im irrated.. and now after 17 mins on hold the line said" all representives are busy try again later" and hung up! WHAT THE SmUrf..

I hope you can get it resolved. I had Medicaid when I had Silas, they made it very difficult for me. Luckily my doctor's office is amazing and worked with them for me. When we have to call them here, it's at least a 30 minute wait on hold.

Yay for baby heartbeat, glad the appointment went well! I hope feel better soon.

Well, hubs has the day off and decided to take me out to eat. I'm hoping I can keep it down. Everything I ate yesterday came up. My nurse was baffled as to why my keytones are high and I've had 2 bags of IV fluid. I wish they'd figure it out. I'm so over feeling like this. Trying to figure out how the hell Im supposed to do school this semester like this  

I don't want my mom to come to the birth this time... But I have no idea how to tell her that  
She was there with my daughter was born and just assumes she's going to be there this time. Everytime I say something about the birth or the pregnancy she says I'm so excited I get to be there... But we are having a home birth this time- I really want it to just be my husband my doula my midwife and my daughter. It's just I want it to be a very intimate thing And my mom can be very... Take charge or The star of the show I don't know how to explain it... Is going to devastate her if I tell her she can't be there... I don't know what to do. I was thinking about not telling her that at all I just not calling her when I'm in labor... this sucks  

Phucket: I'm having similar issues with the birthing center near by. Ugh I'm so over it. Hubby isn't helping either and I'm going to punch him in the throat... he doesn't get how traumatic my birth with my first was.

I think that might hurt her more. I would just be like, " ya know mom, DH and I have been talking and we want to do something different this time. It's not that I don't want you there, we just want a very special family moment. I'm sure you can understand" . That way it communicates what you want without hurting feelings   good luck!
