throwing up?

the past 2 weeks... every morning dd's first feeding she eats 4-6 oz then shortly after will start coughing (shes had a dry cough for a month, iv had it check numerous times, doc says its dry air/cold). after she starts coughing she pukes. this has become part of our daily routine   but then i just feed her another 2-4 oz (so she doesnt get dehydrated) to make up for what she threw up and she gladly takes it... i know their gag reflex but its just about everyday. and its a lot too. last time i brought her in for this her doc said just that... i dont want to call her doctor because they will just have us come in for a weight check and i know she isnt losing weight because she eats again after she throws up and eats about 30 oz a day... but besides having a cool mist humidifier for the cough (which i always have running next to where she sleeps) what else can i do!?

My LO did this at also ... My doctor recommended for his first bottle to add one less scoop of powder so it's not so heavy and thinner. Worked like a charm.

shes on nutramagin though and its really thin and cant that lead to water intoxication?

It's only for one bottle .. 2 extra oz of water will not give your baby water intoxication lol
