6 weeks and spotting help!.....help!.....Help!

Yesterday I was 6 weeks. I started to have some spotting it was like I had just started my period when i went to the bathroom yeterday. It was a brownish red. I got in the bathtub to relax and i had passed a black blood clot. It was just a blood clot nothing to it. No tissue or anything solid, Like a period clot.I have no cramping.I do have lower by bikini area achey. ( round ligament pain) I went to the e.r and they did blood work and ultrasound. said blood work came back fine. and my ultrasound there was a yolk sac, and gestation sac. no fetalpole. Everything else in the ultrasound was fine and could not find a reason for the spotting.Has this happened to anyone else and did they go on to have healthy pregnancies

Im not an expert by far but is it possible you were carrying twins?

if it was twins do you think that the ultrasound tech would of been able to see where i was bleeding from and would of been able to confirm that? would I of had some cramping? I had no pain. I have had a m/c before and that was painful.

It happened with me. And I have a healthy 5 and a half year old who is in the other room.

I highly doube that it wastwins. Some people spot in the beginning of pregnancy and it is completely normal.

I have no clue lol. That was my only thought though.

I should also add that my cervix was closed as well confirmed via ultrasound.

they say some ladies spot from the egg conecting to the uterus. good thing you had it checked out and they said everything was okay so i just thinking it was nothing to big but who knows i'm not a doc i've just read stuff about that happening.

Im 28 weeks pregnant and it happend to me in the beginning. The doctor said that some blood is normal. You shouldn't worry. But i would go to the doctor to ease your concern. I did and felt much better. And my baby is healthy and kicking. lol.

i have my normal obgyn appointment tomorrow morning. I had spotting before my dr said it was implantation bleeding. It had stopped for a week and then yesterday i started up again. It scared the hell out of me. Wondered if anything olike this has happen to you ladies and how it ended. Thank You so much for your info.

I had a closed cervix and only spotted browinsh blood for 3 days and had no cramping. My periods are much worse,anyway it turned out that I had m/c I was supposed to be 6 weeks. I hope all is OK with u dear! I will be praying for you!!

Hi I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I had the same issue in the beginning I bleed off and on until 12 weeks. Then at 22 weeks I was admitted into the hospital for heavy bleeding (scary) i found out that I have placenta Pervia and I've been on strict bedrest. Just try to relax and stay off your feet. I know exactly how scary it is.

what were u doing right before u started bleeding?
