re: December moms in labor

I completely understand! I know so many people who are due after me that have already had their babies! It's so damn irritating. I'm ready to have my little girl. And I can't stand the fact that I'm due Friday & still getting nowhere.

Doesn't it just make you wanna stamp your foot and throw a fit? lol. I just can't stand the fact that I went from 3 cm at 35 weeks, to barely 1 now.   I didn't even know it was possible.

Im free of pre-eclampsia.. at least so far!!

They checked me today and i am 1 cm dilated.
I got checked last wednesday and i was nothing.
That was quick! lol

That's great news! I have an appt tomorrow, so I'll probably be getting checked again.

yep. im just waiting for her to decide to come out, im impatient even though its like 3 weeks left. =/

Well I had my appt, and the Dr says I'm 2-3 cm dilated (so 2.5 I guess?). He thinks I have bronchitis and doesn't want me to go out much. I'm bleeding like I'm on my period. Idk what that is about.

Yes. Only reason I don't credit it to the check is b/c I've never bled like this after being checked. I've only spotted.

i dont think its normal to bleed like a period after you get checked

Is that your real due date?   I'd be going insane if I were you.

Im due the same day as you and im getting induced tuesday. nothing is wrong my doctor just always induces if your still pregnant at week 40! are they going to induce you? my cervix is soft but no dilation at all, and baby isnt dropping... praying that everything goes okay :/ kind of have a feeling ill have a c section  ((

My Dr prefers not to do any interventions until 41 weeks. It's a big part of why I stood with him. I wanna try going on my own since things didn't turn out the way I had hoped for with my daughter.

well, there is no really no reason to be induced at 40w IMO & that does raise your chance of a c-section...

Besides medical reasons of course.
