labour?

I'm 38+2 and I'm having a lot of cramping and a lot of sharp pains around my pelvic region.... been very nauseous all day and when I eat it makes the pain worse I had a few small contractions this morning but nothing since, and i'm starting to have the 'clear out'..... early labour? or am I getting my hopes up?? havent had my show yet and my waters definitely have not broken....
