mac and cheese

posted 2nd Dec
The other day I made home made mac and cheese for the first time and it turned out pretty good. It was a pretty basic recipe but I was wondering if any of you ladies had a good mac and cheese recipe? Its my guilty pleasure! I could eat mac and cheese all day, every day LOL

Oh God I made amazing mac n cheese last night.
I boiled 2 cups of noodles in 4 cups of milk and stirred constantly. Once the noodles were cooked I removed the pot from the heat and added like half a stick of butter and a crap ton of shredded cheese, stirred and covered it for a couple minutes. Then stirred again and I put it in a baking dish with buttery breadcrumb topping and popped it in a 400 degree oven until it looks crunchy on top.

SO NOM.

I'm craving it so bad LOL. I haven't had starchy, cheesy goodness in a while. I had just a few bites last night

boil box of shells until tender, drain, add salt, butter and about 1/4 cup of milk, I add A LOT of shredded cheese to mine, stir it up Sometimes I will put it in a casserole dish and add some more cheese on top and bake until melted but not always

My aunt puts tuna fish and cream of mushroom soup in hers and it is really good too

Omg that sounds delicious.

OP I like to add in a few whole chopped jalapeņos in my noodles and cheese mix just before I stick it in the oven to bake. Then I let it go until the cheese is pretty brown on the top. I like the crunchy edges. (I do 2 pie pans one for the kids and one for me and DH)
