OMG I'm so sorry that happened! Poor baby! So glad she is okay. If it was an honest mistake (ALL parents make them) don't beat yourself up. She is safe and sound and it will be okay.

Made me cry....I will have your family in my prayers.

I was doing okay, I took her back down to the pool twice today because I really don't want her to fear water.
I never let them go without at least floaties on, but we hadn't had time to go to the store or yet find a store that may have them [We did find one]

Ugh,
I just am a mess now that all day it's all she talks about, all day it's the only thing that probably ran through her mind.
I can't keep my eyes off her, I got like 3hrs of sleep last night.

How incredibly scary! I am so sorry you had to experience that! Its such a blessing that you caught it in time! Prayers for peace of mind to both you and her. Please dont beat yourself up. Those little "what ifs" can eat you up! We all have them, i promise. Chin up, cherish your sweet girl, and just take the whole scenerio as a learning experience, and pray that it wakes up the rest of us a little about how quick those kinds of things can happen.

Big 5 usually carries swimming stuff all year around here. Or online. How old is she? I know the YMCA is really good pricing for swim lessons, too. It sounds like you go to the pool often  

Everything is going to be okay though. It won't happen again, I'm sure and she's okay right now. Take some deep breathes and calm down. She will feel better if she knows you are okay, too. It was a traumatic experience, she made it through. And that's what matters.

I am so sorry to hear that....I am not sure if you have one but my mom had pool covers. They saved me millions of times when I was a child. They are worth every dime. I don't know much on them as i never owned a pool but I do remember running around the pool and falling a lot and it catching me often.

We're getting all three girls in lessons, ASAP.
We are currently in a hotel this weekend, due to waiting to move into our new house on Monday.
We rented out the old house and can't move in the new house till Monday so I wanted to take them swimming as much as possible. =/

Glad she's OK. Happened to me with DS when he was 3 or 4 (he's 7 now). He talks about how I saved him in the pool once every now and again, but since he incident he's never been afraid of water. I don't let them in the pool/near the lake now without life jackets.

So glad she is okay.
