I lived in Seattle for a year, I have family there and my best friend lives there...my SO is looking for work there as well...so I'll probably be moving back within the next year or 2. GONNA SMOKE THAT Smurf UP.

Please tell me exactly what harm is being done to this child? It's a baby. The baby has no smurfing clue what a bong is or what it's for. There is no weed in it that I can see, it's not even lit. It's no different than putting a glass bottle up her against the kid's mouth for all the difference it makes to the kid.

I have an Rx that says I can have 2 lbs at all times on me. But my baby has never seen a bong, or a joint or any thing like that.

The Rx is nice though ;) I am all for people using medication but letting the baby see you use it and taking a picture like that and letting people see it on line proves those people are not good parents and they should have their situation looked into.

I do not agree with that at all. So do you think showing a baby alcohol means you're not a good parent too? Because alcohol is WAY worse than pot, yet nobody throws a smurfing fit when parents crack open a beer in front of their kid after work.

I am definitely not against pot, at all. I smoke it daily.
But, I'm not a fan of anyone smoking anything around their kids. Smoke isn't good for anyone, and it's not really fair to expose children to it against their will IMO.
Be that pot or cigarette smoke.

Hell, I don't even like walking out of a store with my DD while someone's standing right in front of the door smoking, and I'm a smoker lol.

But, I see no issue with vaping around a child.

Like I said though, that's just my opinion.

(I do not let alcohol in my home but for those who think its an OK thing to do I can't stop them) Moving on... you gave a very poor analogy in saying " alcohol means you're not a good parent" . because having a beer in front of a kid after work is not the same a taking a photo of your kid with a bong up to their mouth and posting it on line.


A better analogy in my opinion would be posing your kid with a martini glass and shaker, then taking a photo of them with the glass up to their mouth. THEN posting it on line for all your friends to see how funny it is that your kid knows how to use a martini glass and shaker.

I don't agree with you on vaping being totally OK, I do agree its way better than smoking! I think its best to just step out side no matter how you are using it.

If people must medicate while the kids are in the room then I think people should stick with edibles, they control pain for longer anyway.

I'm not a fan of exposing kids to smoke either, but in the grand scheme of things a kid knowing what a bong is really isn't going to have any negative effect on them.

I still don't think it's a big deal? I have pictures of my niece doing things like grabbing an unopened beer can and pretending to drink it. There's no harm that could possibly come from a moment of being silly like that. There are way worse things a parent could do.

Meh, to each their own. Hiding it and acting like it's horrible is only going to make them act stupid about it if they choose to try.

When my daughter is old enough to fully grasp it, she will know that I smoke weed and that if she ever feels like she wants to try, she has to be honest and open and follow a set of ground rules.

Yeah we are going to be honest with our kids as well. And I don't know the age of your LOs but I have a small baby. I think baby should not be exposed to smoke or even fresh week because that can cause allergic issues

But kids who are a little older I mean ever 4 or 5 that is totally different. The baby is the picture also looks like she is about 5 months. i think that is way to small to be around smoke.

I think parents like you and myself who talk to the kids have a much better chance that our kids will make positive choices. Avoiding that talk and letting the kids try and figure it out on their own... never a good idea.
