posted 1st Dec
We have my partners little boy full time he will be 3 in Januaryand he just won't go to the toilet. He knows to go to the toilet of a night time he gets up take his nappy off goes to the toilet but of a day time he would rather pee himself he never wears a nappy of a day but. Always pees himself and doesn't care or he pees on the floor. What are we ment to do ? He doesn't been communicate well he can't count doesn't know colours and doesn't really tell you if he wants something he will just cry , i know his ment to talk more and i teach him al the time he just doesn't pick up on it ?

Just give him the opportunity but don't enforce it and let him do it when he is ready.

My son is 22 months. During the day (since I am a stay at home mom) I let him run around butt naked and take him to the potty every hour or half hour unless he indicates he has to go. Like if he is crouching to poop...

However if you think there are other delays, get him tested to know if there is or if he is just stubborn.

That's what i do for ayden but he hates it so much. He'd rather be lazy
But as for his over delays his dad think its normal and that aysen is really smart for his ages he doesn't understand most kids ayden age can have a conversation not just a few words

Why doesn't your partner take him in to get checked? If you two have him full time then you should have the right to take him to the doctor...

Well I guess he'll have his three year checkup soon so he can hear it from a doctor...

My 3 year old wouldn't go potty until I let her pick out her own underwear at the store. She picked out sponge-bob square pants panties. Before that I just used the cheap 10 pack. But she is proud of her sponge-bob undies and NEVER has an accident in them.

I don't really think its normal. Does he go to preschool? My LO could count to 12 by the time she turned three, write o n a for Ona and talk in sentences. She is really clever but still all the kids in her preschool in her age group can do similar

Fair enough. Onalees is about 85 a day it's so much.

If you decide to go back to study in the future apply for jettca through tafe. You will only pay ten cents an hour
