Mirena

I was really hoping to have my tubes tied after this baby. My appt. kept getting pushed back and I finally got in on wednesday and my doctor agreed to tie my tubes but turns out that my insurance was to run out on thursday   Anyways because I am not able to get my tubes tied at the moment I opted for the Mirena. I was not too enthuastic about it because I hear all kinds of stories but so far it turns out that I only had a small bit of bleeding after getting it in yesterday and brown spotting later on. Now virtually nothing (just a little brown here and there).
I'm just curious about the ladies that have Mirena; does this prob. mean I'm not going to have the bleeding from hell?
I'm really really afraid that I'm going to but I'm plesently surprised that it hasn't happened so far.

I never had ANY bleeding with Mirena (AF was MIA the entire time) and the only side effect I had was phantom kicks (never had them after DS).

You either love it or you hate it. I loved it as does everyone I've ever known IRL who had it

What are phantom kicks? Lol

When you're not pg but you still randomly feel baby kicks/movement. Never had it after my 1st (used no b/c afterward since DH was deployed) but had it monthly after my 2nd (had Mirena placed at my 6w PP appt)

I'm getting mine in January and I'm kinda nervous about it. I've heard horror stories about it and at the same time, two of my friends have it and love it. I don't know what to think about it.

Ooh! I did feel those with mine I kept saying I swear I just felt kicks! I didn't know that wash side effect
