Yeah, FF in the middle, infant seat behind driver. Dont use the passenger side unless you have to.

ok i feel stupid, im not understanding most of this. Is there certain sides of the car certain kids should be on?!? My husband and I are always in the car together. I have two kids and one on the way. Our van has two captain seats in the middle row. I obviously have both my boys in the captain seats. When baby comes im putting my older in the middle in the back of the van because he can buckle himself and then the baby behind me so i can be the one to take her out. I asked when we got the van about the whole middle seat thing and i was told that vans with those seats have reinforcement bars on the sides of the van to help with impact if there is an accident. Were they lying?

I think vans are different. I know that the passenger side is more prone to get hit because lets face it more people get hit making left turns than right turns.

well true thats scary to think ty. I just couldnt figure out why there were certain sides more safe than others but i got it now haha. I can always put her on my hubbys side and he can carry her in or hand her to me. Good to know thank you!
