I know exactly what you are going through. I too was diagnosed with Hyperemesis. I know the physical pain. I couldnt keep anything down, I lost 25 lbs, was in and out of the hospital. I too wanted nothing but relief because the meds were not working for me either. My doctor was going to put me on a home I.V. system because I still was so sick. I woke up one moring when I was 10 weeks pregnant and I had NO sickness. I was able to eat and drink. I am not saying that it gets better for everyone so you need to do what is best for you. I had hyperemesis from 7weeks-10weeks of my pregnancy. It was HELL but I got through it. Its up to you what you decide. If you want to talk about it, you can message me.

I havent read the whole thread.. just your initial post OP.

I was the exact same when pregnant with our son.

If you want the baby then speak to your DR, tell them you cant handle it & you're thinking of termination as last resort because you're not coping and feel so sick you have had to give your job up etc,

Ask for zofran wafers, nexium or zantac and take mylanta liquid also.

it'll help you feel semi normal.

it helped me amazingly! - i had badddd morning sickness right up until i delievered and had to quit my job because of it also - i worked in a call centre and was having to put customers on hold to be sick or run to the bathroom if i could make it.

(they prescribed me maxolon pills initially and it didnt do anything.. zofran was great, especially in combo with a maxolon injection!!)

Its really not the same thing. Its still just a fetus. And to tell a women who is struggling with this that she would be "killing a child" is pretty cruel, regardless of how nice you were trying to be.
