re: Pitocen induced VBAC or another C-Section?

i was induced with my VBAC i had.. and it was worth it.. i would do it again over a c sec.

this is very true i had a doctor that has been doing induced VBACs for 20+ years.. i trusted him and he was very careful threw the whole thing as well. did it very slow didnt slam the pit to fast.. i had a amazing VBAC and the only thing i had was a little tear from him stretching me for the baby to come out.

that is awesome!! i hope everything goes well with my future vbac(s) im preparing myself now. i will definitely choose being induced again over a csection again but hope to go into labor on my own! i am a definite vbac advocate because of all the research ive done

i do not blame you.. we waited a week before inducing but because my eldest son was so big (10lbs 9.1oz) we didnt want to wait two weeks.. i was already in labor the start of it when i went in but he wanted to give it a push to help it go by faster.. i was ok with it. i think the only time its not ok to induce for a VBAC is when the doctor has no clue how to.. or its way to early. i find nothing wrong with inducing.

Quick update---

I had my appt today and talked to my doctor. She said she does, in fact, do induced VBAC's, she'd just do it verrryyy slowly. She said we should wait and see when we get to it, but she thinks it's totally worth a shot in my case with how little contraindications I have. I love my supportive doctor!-
