I think the lighting looks nice but IMO I would include the whole shadow because it gives it a nice effect and cut out the empty space to the left so they are centered  .

I think I am going to keep both types of crops and I re-edited all the lighting. And I left the space because I was trying to stick to the rule of thirds.

This one for sure! Omg that is soooo cute!!! You should come over here and show me your ways. I'm in no way a photographer but I haven't been able to get good pics of my kids since they got mobile

Thank you! I'm not a photographer either. Just a mom with a camera. I am not looking forward to that age.

Well you're doing really well   I only have good pictures here and there of the kids when they were little. The older they got the more awkward the pics got or they were only in like half the picture because getting them to sit still was impossible

Thanks! I'm still learning though.   I actually have a bunch of nice pics of Ali. I dont want him to hit that age and be a butthead though.

I like number one. I think darkening it detracts from the picture.
