DS#2 just turne,d eight months (yesterday or today). He refuses to take a bottle, so he has been on the soft spout Nuk cups since he was four and a half months. He got two teeth on Halloween and now he's biting holes in the nipple of his sippy. He will take hard spout, so that isn't the problem. The problem is that he refuses to drink his formula out of the hard spout and the soft spout now. He acts like the taste of it is going to make him puke, he gags and spits it out. He eats whatever I do but what am I supposed to do about him not taking his milk?

Idk but I'm in same situation. Mine was drinking 6oz every 4 oz I'm lucky if I can get him to drink 3 maybe 4, so I'm also watching with responses

I don't think I'll get responses until later in the day, but this is the second time it has happened with my LO just not to this extent. His pedi was like I know it sounds harsh but don't feed him anything else and let him get hungry and he will eat his formula. I've already tried that this time and it isn't working.

I agree with your pedi. He doesn't need food esp the food you are eating. He needs the nutrients in the formula.

He also eats baby food. I got the okay from his doctor before I gave him any kind of food. His pedi is okay with it. He is just crossing this stage once again where he refuses his formula.
