I really want a vbac... Soooo bad! I want a natural water birth.
Ive had two c section.
The first was because my daughter was breech and the second was just a repeat.
My doctor in michigan does not do vbacs.. I moved to kentucky and didnt even mention it to my doctor down here and hes saying my pelvis is very small.. He said i wouldnt be able to give birth to a baby over 5 pounds which i know wont happen.
Im moving back to michigan and we wont have a car right away when we go up there... The closest people who do a vbac are like an hour away.
Besides the fact of getting there till we get our car and everything then its my pelvis problem.. I dont know much about that tho.
It just seems like alot of work. I would do it also... But i dont want to do it just to get pulled into a c section. :/ sigh.

I'd definitely call around. But a dr that does a vbac after 2 csections is going to be harder to find. They might want to know a lot about your history an stuff too before they agree to it.

It just seems like so much work thats why i dont know if i should just buck it up and get the c section... I just feel like it will never happen for me.

But if it's what u want you should try. At least u won't have the regret of not trying even of u can't find a dr to do it.

C Sections suck but the pain does eventually go away. As long as your baby comes here healthy that's all that matters. Gotta do what's safer for the little one y'kmow?

I have to go an hour away for my VBAC friendly dr and hospital. Well worth it for me.

Pull a list of OBs off your insurance company's website that are around you and start calling. (what I did, took about 50 calls).

I'm sorry but "your pelvis is too small" thing is most likely bullsmurf. I would take the plunge and go for the doctor an hour away. At least try. Another surgery is not necessarily "what's best" depending on your c-section history and How you progressed with your first two

if its what you really want i wuld fight to find a dr who will at least attempt a vbac. it is really difficult but it wont hurt to really try.

if not then unfortunately sometimes you gotta give and take =/

I would agree 1000% if data on VBACs showed them to actually besafer, but it doesn't. They just act like it does so they get less resistance to scheduling a c-section.
