Okay, I understand you now. And i tried clicking on that thinking "WTF" but im only seeing peoples comments not the orignal post.

Most hospitals and doctors/won't and can't. Babies born that early are just like a futile effort (sad to say but it's true). The only time I've heard of them trying to save a baby that wasn't quite 24 weeks is when they thought she was 24 weeks and then she had the baby and they determined she had to have been earlier at around 20 weeks and not 24 like they thought.

I'm not sure you could be right. 3 of his kids were born premie. 1 they lost (though i know she was born at 30 weeks because i remember them telling me how they were trying to save her and tried the best they could) the other two were born in the early 20 week area so maybe 24 weeks i could be wrong. there were WAY to many dates for me to keep up with regarding the boys.

Yeah I was surprise too, but they said she had no growth restriction or anything. It HAD to be that her dates were just WAY off and she just went into PTL and at that point they just couldn't stop it and they figured if she was 24 weeks there would be a chance but sadly the baby only lived like 45 mins after birth.

I think it had to do with the hospitals inexperience staff. I hear way to many negative things about that hospital. His two boys were born at two diffrent hospitals both had high ranking NICU's for the state, i think thats why the boys made it. I felt awful when he told me about his daughter. And his mom confirmed it she was there for the delivery.

Of course he had breathing issues. If the baby lived, his due date was weeks off. Babies don't live at 21 weeks gestation. They just don't. If someone said a 21 weeker survived, they were mistaken.

Not saying people aren't full of BS, but stranger things have happened.
