I am almost 23 weeks pregnant. Severe tooth infection. Went to Emergency room last week then again yesterday.. for second round of .antibiotic. Nothing is working. Do you think it can affect the baby

Any infection is not good and left untreated can cause other problems which im sure at some point could affect the baby. Why not just get the tooth taken care of at the dentists office. Im sure they could work out a payment plan if money is the issue.

Yes, if the infection was to enter the bloodstream. Pre-term labor is a big risk.

Yeah, tooth infections can have severe consequences. You need to see a dentist-not just the ER.

I had a horrible tooth infection while i was pregnant and was told that the stress and pain alone are bad for baby. And the infection eventually spread to the fetus if it's not treated.
You can't go to the dentist?

Is it abscessed? Which tooth? Give some details and I'll be able to help you better. I had some massive dental work not long ago.
