4 months and biting...

He is ebf and he got his first tooth right before he turned 4 months and now his second tooth is almost all the way out. Its not really biting but if he gets tired while nursing he starts scraping me with that tooth and it hurts. If i try to unlatch him he freaks out until i put him back on and he is eating again. I know there isnt a lot i can do but ill try anything....its starting to hurt soooo bad.

Let him freak. Seriously not like an all out fit, but teach him that if he does that he won't get a full tummy. I feel your pain, cuz my yougest started biting me at 5 months and he would not quit for anything. I had to stop breastfeeding.

I feel like im getting to the point where i want to stop because it hurts so bad, but i really want to try and bf till he is 1

It is really hard but I think if you don't let him fill his tummy he will get the idea and stop biting. All the best!

My daughter started biting and pulling alot when she was 4 months and I tried taking her off when she did it etc and it made no difference, after a month of trying I also eventually had to stop breastfeeding.
