I went through a smurffy experience with some of the pain meds they gave me... forgot what it was. But it made me incredibly hot and I felt higher than a kite. I did not like it. But it helped with the contractions some, so I can't complain to much. Lol.

After an hour or two with that, my contractions got so intense and unbearable I was crying. ;( so, I asked for an epidural. Lidocaine doesn't work for me, I have to get like twice as much for it to work
And well... needless to say, I had a panic attack after 2 attempts of getting it in, cuz my reflex was to jerk. ;( after I calmed down and he moves the spot of the shot, I didn't feel all the pressure. Thank God. It was a really bad experience just because I was in agony and scared and whatnot. But I'm so glad I got it. I feel amazing.  

Before the epi I was dilated to a 3. So, who knows where I'm at now. But I have been on pitocin since about 8. And got the epi at 1130. And its now 215. So, I am gonna try sleeping... lol.

I'm so glad I didn't have to get induced.   ahhh!

And, so far this hospital has been great. Its like a 2 min drive from my place. And my Dr prefers this hospital to Scottsdale and St Joe's. So I tool his recommendation.   and I loveeeeee my Dr. He's so amazing.

Just updating you guys, she had him today at 12:20 pm...i'll let her post any pictures and his birth weight/size since he belongs to her but just wanted to let you guys know she had him and both are doing good

Ethan John Sinatra was born at 12:20pm. Weighing 7lbs 14oz. And 21 inches long!!! Hes absolutely beautiful! He has a natural mohawk. Lol. Hes got an entire full head of dark brown hair. His eyes actually look like a dark greenish brown. But we'll see.

I ended up having a csection. My water broke. I went the 18 hours not progressing the way i should have. I started to get a fever so they put me on antibiotics. ;( well, i was stuck at 5cm for over 8 hrs. I was o 18mg of pitocin and my contractions stioo werent good enough. They weren't frequent enough and not strong enough. My dr was out of town so the on call dr, decided it was a loss cause and within 10mins i was in the OR.

Ethan is feeding super good! He was on for about 10 mins for his first feeding. His second he was on for over 35mins. And his last feeding was a little over 10mins. He has pooped 2 times and peed 2 times too. Hes doing amazing and hss such a good baby. Onky cries when hss got a dirty diaper or hes frustrated that hes not latching to get his milk. Lol. He gets mad enough where he just grabs it hard and goes. Lol.

I love him so much. Im a little disappointed that i ended in csection, but im so fhankful hes here and hes healthy. Hes so beautiful!!!

And Alicia, if you know how, you can poat the pics for me, i dont mind.   ... and thanks for thinking hes a cutie! Lol.

Aww momma congrats!
How are you feeling? I am scheduled for a repete c-section in May. I was scared to have one, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
I can't wait to see pics!
