Anyone get their cervix checked later in their pregnancy and have it start labor?

Yep my water broke lol all over my doctors hand and feet lol

My MW checked mine today at 39+4 and said it was closed but soft and since then I've had some pretty good contractions and lots of pressure so I am hoping maybe she jump started something lol

That's what kept happening to me every time I got check but then my water finally broke.

Yes, I got checked for the first time at 39 weeks and then my water broke later that night.

What was your cervix at when they checked it?

I'm hoping to be checked on Monday and have my water break!
