I start about a week before transfer or about a day or so after I would have ovulated if it were a natural cycle. If you have it I would take it as soon as you know for sure you ovulated.

I know I ovulated on follicle on Wednesday then the other yesterday. Yesterday I had the worst O pain ever! I felt like I was having a heavy period.. I also used OPKs last night and this after noon, both negative. Do you think I should start the progesterone tonight or tomorrow 3dpo?

I would if you have had issues in the past. Progesterone helps to build a healthy lining too.

I always start the morning of 3DPO.

i always start the second i get that BFP, but its a little different for me than it is for you.
i would probably start taking it now if i were in your shoes, just to be on the safe side.

I started mine 1dpo.

I would go ahead and take it. The sooner the better. As long as you know you have Oed, it is fine.

Well, I'm 1dpo today; I'll start my progesterone tonight!

Thanks for all the replies ladies. I'm nervous about having low progesterone again. With my IUI in May my progesterone was only 10   I feel extremely confident about this cycle, I just want to make sure I have enough progesterone in my body to support a pregnancy.

14 weeks yesterday! So far, everything is great too!

My progesterone levels had always been a bit low. Even with supplementing. They still aren't 100% sure if it was the cause or just one of the causes for my previous losses. Anyway. This time they have been high   If you look in my About Me, you can see the difference in this pregnancy and my last loss.

I just took a couple OPKs after my last reply in this thread. My surge is gone.. Yesterday around 5-6pm I had terrible cramping, I’m positive that O’ed around that time.

I also had my labs and a u/s done yesterday, the same day as my IUI. My dominate follicle was gone but the 17mm was still there. My LH was at 49.5 and they took my progesterone too to see if I already O’ed. My progesterone was 1.86. Last cycle my RE’s office didn't schedule the monitoring correctly, I ended up O’ing the day before my appointment; the corpus luteum was present on the U/S. They tested my progesterone that day (1dpo) to confirm it. My progesterone last cycle at 1dpo was 1.60

Wow! Your progesterone level with this pregnancy is amazing! What milligram and how often did you take your progesterone?

Your progesterone level with your angel baby was good too! My progesterone level with my daughter was only 20 at 7dpo and 29 after a week of progesterone.
