Trampoline and safety?!?

Just bought a trampoline at academy for $243.00 which I thought wasn't cheap and wasn't to expensive. I'm hoping the quality is just as good as when I had one as a kid. My question is the weight limit says 220 on it which us fine for me and my son but his dad my husband will never be able to jump on it with him as he is 6"4 and weighs 285! So how black and white are their weight limits?? Anyone ever had more than 500 pounds on one before??

I'd listen to the limits, they're there for a reason.

But just so you know, they can cancel your homeowner's insurance because of it.

I've had like 6 people on one at a time .It should be fine, if not you'll knowbehen too much is too much .

If it says 220 there is no way in hell I'd risk putting my kid on it with double that.

But they do collapse and tear. Why risk it, especially with a small child?!

I mean would just have the dad try it out first since he is already over the limit and if he seems like too much then he can't go on with the baby.

It will tear and he will hit the ground if he jumps. I wouldn't do it. He could sit on it and play, but no jumping.

I would listen to the limits. Those things are dangerous when they collapse.

Having a trampoline. They want nothing to do with that. Someone else's kid gets hurt and sues you're SOL.
