Mild panic as the day grows nearer...

So I am due with my first child, Ella Rose, on the 4th of January, but it is looking like the 29th of December will probably be more likely. I was just wondering if anyone else has had/ is having the issue with not really coming to terms with the fact that in less than a month you'll be a mom. My pregnancy was a shock to say the least and I feel like I've spent most of it feeling ashamed for getting pregnant at 22 rather than getting excited. At this point most everyone has came to terms with it and are actually excited, except for my dad. I just feel like the only thing that is hitting me is the question of how am I going to be able to do this? I want to know if I'm alone, and if there is any advice.   Thank you so much !!  

I'm scared to be a mom. We been pretty excited. Most family and all. I'm just scared of the hardships and if I'll be any good. :/ Sometimes I feel like it hasn't hit me but I already feel so much love for my sweet little boy.

I was more scared of L&D than I was being a Mom, lol.
You'll be fine. As for everyone else? They can shove it. It's your life, your child.

Im 17 and due wit my first in 4 days! :S
im worried too because its totally new and i don't have support from my mum however SOs family are really supportive. i guess im just worried about the unknown and how i will be able to cope with no sleep! Haha

I was so scared. I was depressed and alone my whole pregnancy. I hated being pregnant and I was so guilty about hating it since I knew I didn't hate the life I was bringing into the world. I was so nervous and everyday was hell. Then, she came and the first few days were such a blur. Every day we bonded and other smurf didn't matter anymore. DD is a year next week and life sucks for us. But, I am happy as hell not being prego anymore lol. It was so much easier to cope with life once DD was here. I'm a single mom and it has been a rollercoaster doing everything alone yet being with someone 24/7 it is so stressful, but we have a great bond between us so far. Cherish these last moments of being alone...soon things will change for the better and the suffering you endured while being pregnant will fade away each day.

Me. Im getting induced end of december. Im more nervous than ever. Cant believe it. Maybe cus her and my son will only be 17mo apart... nerve wrecking. Lol

i was 17 when i had my first also, & to add more worry his father wasnt in the picture. I went through post partum depression really bad for the first two months, but Now i am about to be 21 and pregnant with my 4th. lol. i love everything about being a mom. just remember to sleep when the baby sleeps, which they will do alot for the first couple months.   Good luck!!
