Once you are pregnant, you qualify for government assistance no matter how old you are. Especially if they are kicking you out! I'm pro-choice and I believe that women have a right to have an abortion for whatever reason they choose however, I believe that in your situation, abortion would be a terrible choice. I feel horrible that your family is treating you this way! If you EVER need to talk, just let me know! Good luck honey!! <3

2000 will be enough! I only make 5-6 hundred a month, my bf gets 1000 and just got a job making 400 a month. So between us that's only 1,900. And that's if we get good paychecks.

Defenitely look into getting gov. support! Its there for people who need help with food, living, health insurance. You can get MA (medical assistance) till you're 21. And there's section 8 that will help you get lower rent if needed. Also get wic! They will help you get healthy food and they will help you out during your pregnancy. Like help you find resources to get baby things and help with a breastbump and help you find just about anything you need. I think they even have councelors you can talk to.

Don't get an abortion if you don't want one! Also a dr will not do an abortion after 20weeks. So you most likely won't be able to get one now anyways.

You're 17, he's 18. That's past age of consent. If your parents were to call the cops, they would tell them that they can't do anything.

If you don't want an abortion and you don't think you can handle it then don't get one, it really will haunt you. It's not right for them to be acting like that, but hopefully after the shock of the whole thing dies down a little they will be more understanding. Don't think of it as loosing your family over this, though; if you want the baby, then keep her, she is your family.

If your family can't support your choice then there is something wrong with them not you. Don't ever let any of them force you to kill your baby. Having a baby is a gift and a responsibility trust me I am 19 and pregnant and not everyone agrees with my choice my bf left me when I told him bout us having a baby. I understand how you feel! My dad and stepmother were the exact same way! They ended up coming around after a few weeks though. They understood that I was finally 18 and I can make my own decisions.
