Clear Blue Digital Result: Arrow Pointing to a Book

posted 30th Nov
My 1st born is 3 MONTHS old and last week I was feeling this exhaustion that I have only had while pregnant and it wasn’t because of my son. I have yet to have a period, which from what I understand isn’t uncommon since I am nursing. Also, we have only been unprotected twice at 8 and 9 weeks pp. However, I decided I would take a clear blue digital test (why not?) I had left over. The test came up with an arrow pointing to a book. Have any of you taken clear blue and gotten this before? Did you end up being pregnant or not?
It seems highly unlikely that I would be pregnant considering but I don’t understand this darn symbol.
Btw YES, I took the test properly.
Thanks all

It means something was wrong with the test or you did it wrong without realising. I had this and I was not pregnant.

It means the test is invalid to "see instructions" which explains it there.

t means there was a booking error--either you peed on it too much or not enough. Or at least that's what I was told by my pharmacist.

Is it not in the instructions?
Why would you have unprotected sex and then think it was highly unlikely you're pregnant?

copied from the leaflet from their website: "Book Error – an error has occurred
during testing. It may be that:
• The Absorbent Tip was not kept
pointing downwards or the Test was
not laid flat after urine was applied.
• Too much or too little urine was applied.
You should test again, using a new test."

This! Any time you have sex if you caught the ovulation time frame then there is a good chance of it happening even with bfing.

Thank you to those who answered my question. Since the test is from 10 months ago I no longer had the instructions just the test. I remember it didn’t expire until late 2013 which is why I kept it.

I realize there is a possibility of getting pregnant which is why we started using protection for the first time in 2 years. However, the conception rate drops from 25% to approximately 2% and lower then that the first 3 month pp.

If that's true it's only an average, that doesn't go for every single woman.

I’m not saying it is impossible, I said “unlikely.” The chances are very slim, especially before your first menstruation.

If I didn't think there was some probability I wouldn't have taken a test or brought it up.
