"Tear" or "Rip" feeling lower abdomen

I really can't explain the feeling very well so forgive me if this isn't much help.   Last night while I was peeing I got a "tear" feeling in my lower abdomen in the middle. It was deep inside and it just hurt. I can't describe it any better than this. It happened again when I got in bed and was just laying there.

Does anyone have an idea what this could have been?

Maybe round ligament pains? If I sneeze or move too quickly, I'll get sharp pains that stop me for a minute or 2.

Thanks. That came up a lot in what I searched last night when it happened. I just wasn't sure if round ligament pains felt like a tear or a rip.

I would call ur ob that dont sound good at all. I have a c section so I feel it when its streching.

My guess is that's what it is. I never had them with my first pregnancy, but this time I get them all the time. It sort of does feel like a tear and it will take my breath away. They hurt.

I had a feel like that. First pregnancy. I often wondered if she was tugging at the base of the umbilical cord.
