Breakouts

I feel vain as hell for even bringing myself to post about this but it is driving me absolutely insane. I'm have a girl and the extra estrogen is causing me to break out all over my face (mostly on my chin), as well as a little on my back and shoulders. I use Pro-Active as it was what I used pre-pregnancy but it just isn't cutting it anymore. I refuse to accept the fact that it's just a sad fact of life so I am begging anyone for anyideasthat they might have found worked with their breakouts. I can't even use cover-up to pretend like it's not happening because then I just break out more.

I don't know what to tell you. =/ I've got break outs from hell all over my face, and I haven't been able to get rid of them.

But there is some good news. It might go away BEFORE your little girl is born. I had break outs and things on my chest, back, arms, etc, but all of that went away on its own.

I sure as hell hope it goes away before the baby is born otherwise I'll have to destroy all photographic evidence of myself in the hospital or Mommy will just be a paper bag with a smiley face drawn on it lol. (I'm usually not this concerned with my appearance. It's just really getting me down lately.)

Is that a soap or like a vitamin?

I haven't had a pimple or blemish in years, because it's never been an issue for me, but this pregnancy it was my first symptom. I have a few right now and it's driving me nuts. Witch hazel is a cleanser you use after washing your face. I would just recommend making sure you eat healthy, take your vitamins, and clean your face more, but I doubt that will prevent it because your hormones are the cause.

It comes in different forms. Your best bet would be to buy a bottle of it in liquid form. We have some like that. Y'know what the bottle looks like, it looks just like the container that rubbing alcohol comes in. But it smells better. lol

I always used proactiv before getting preggo... and my doc said its safe to use while preggo... so i havent stopped using it... my break outs have been minimal.

ughh I'm sorry to hear about your break outs!!
I won't be any help to ya at all...I actually have better skin now somehow and I"m expecting a girl...(knock on wood!)
I must have just gotten lucky!! I usually just stick to stuff like Cetaphil for my skin cause it's soo sensitive ...
