I'm going to say no its not horrible. But chances of getting twins would be slim. I personally know a few women who took clomid for reasons that they couldn't get pregnant, I am one of them. And no one had twins.

=\. I also don't know how it works if twins are in yhe family.

We have twins on both side but I not close enough related to think we even had a chance naturally... I have read if you take 100mg on days 2-6 it increases the chances... I don't know how clomid works though so I don't know what days 2-6 means...im guessing thats when you ovulate?

2-6 would be your cycle days. Most women take it to ovulate. But I don't know how it would if you already ovulate. What if it doesn't help at all. Our you end up ovulating much later =\. I'd ask a dr

I personally don't think it's right. That's just my opinion. Twins have a higher chance of pre-term birth and NICU stays. And if you ended up with triplets, even moreso.

That said, you don't have to have a c-section for each child. Research VBAC. You're more likely to find a provider (midwife or OB) who is willing to let you VBAC since you've only had one c-section. Not only that, but I just had my fourth c-section in October and my OB made no mention of not having any more kids.

All that said, I have multiples on both sides of my family (fraternal twins, identical twins, and fraternal triplets). I took Clomid for infertility and didn't get pregnant from it, nor did I conceive multiples.

I physically can not deliver vaginally. But thanks for the suggestion. I'd give my left arm to be able to deliver through my vag, walk around after and not be in pain for 2 months later or sliced wide open with nothing but surgical masks to stare at when I deliver my kids. Unfortunately that is not the case. Not everyone has c-sections just because theyre labor was too long or they didnt dilate on the doctors schedule...some people actually cant deliver vaginally.

and its my 2nd by the way and I can still have more, my OB told my husband it gets more risky after the third with every c-section so my husband is the one who said I can have no more babies after the 3rd c-section it makes him nervous and he is very uncomfortable with me having surgery.

My cousin took 50mg of Clomid and got pregnant with Quints. She had them at 24 weeks two days. They are about two months old now. One of the babies only lived about a week or two. The other four are doing good but that could change at any minute and they still have a LONG road ahead of them. I personally would not take it unless medically needed because it can make you produce way too many eggs. She has a page on FB called Estes Quintuplets.

I do not have any religious beliefs or think that life begins at conception, if I had anything more than triplets I would use selective reduction....without a second thought.
