infertility testing....

posted 30th Nov
I FINALLY after having to wait 3 months for my yearly got to go yesterday!!

I told him that we have not used bc in over 3 years and have actively been trying for the past year. I told him that everything came back fine with my husband's testing. And that my cycles are anywhere from 26 days to 38 days.

He took blood to run some tests and is going to have me set up a HSG AF is due in the 5th so I will most likely have the test the 12th 13th or 14th of December.

My Dr. Is not sure if I am ovulating and if I am he said it's hard for me to pin point when because of my cycles. If everything is fine with the blood work and the HSG then we will go from there.

Who has had a HSG and had a blocked tube? And what did them do for you?

I would like to here other women's stories about their infertility journey so I know what to expect.

Thanks for reading! :-)

I've had an HSG done. It was about 10 years ago so I'm sure it's different now but it was terribly painful. Anyway, the thing with this test is that IF you have blockage the dye usually can take care of that   Either way you've gone to the right place. Good luck with everything

The cramping was really bad? Thats what I am worried about :-(

Will they know that the dye cleared the blockage?

When I had my test we watched it on a monitor while the test was taking place. You can see the dye moving all throughout. And yes, during the test was pretty uncomfortable. Take some ibuprofen or tylenol before hand.
