Flashing Lights in my peripheral vision?

Hi everyone !

As I was sitting doing work on my computer all of a sudden I started seeing lots of pin shaped floating flashing sparkly lights all around ,inside my eye sockets and in front of me for at least couple of minutes.
Have you had similar experience? Should I be worried?

All of a sudden? Yes.

It could be something as minor as floaters. It could be as severe as pre-ecclampsia starting. Please contact a doctor.

is it kind of in an arch shape?

you should tell your OB when you see him/her next. It could just be migraine related which happens to me every so often but usually last for 10-15 minutes. But to be safe let them know, if your blood pressure is fine then they'll ask about migraine history ect.

I get that when a migraine is starting

No ,it's straight, white silver colored with one end flashing, and there lot's of it running around my peripheral vision. Now I have a heavy head ache and feel really weak and dizzy.

It happened to me when migraines were starting and/or I was getting a little dehydrated. Drink LOTSSSS of water!!!!

This could be dangerously high blood pressure. I would have it checked immediately.

thanks, never had migraines or such head aches, I am trying to drink water all the time.

I seen little silver lines out of the corner of my eyes & then was diapnosed with pre e. Go get checked out. Better safe than sorry

Sometimes migraines are brought on by pregnancy   I hope it is too because migraines are THE WORST

This is exactly what I seen. You need to go in asap. If you have pre e & don't get it treated than you can have serious complications
