Lavender helps. A bubble bath, a glass of wine, a sleepy time tea, read a book, they also have sleepy time lotion at Bath and Body works that works fairly well.

i've had bouts of insomnia my whole life, but it seems to have gotten worse with this pregnancy. i can be dead-ass exhausted and try to go lay in bed, and lay there awake till 2 or 3 AM. Melatonin has not helped me. Unfortunately, it may just be a symptom of the pregnancy. Your body will rest when its ready. I try to stay as busy and active during the day now so I tire myself out as much as possible in order to fall asleep at a decent hour. My insomnia has seemed to get better, but now I'm constantly waking up every hour to pee, and my husbands snoring wakes me up periodically too. I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in months.
