posted 30th Nov
I was just wondering how you felt before you went into labor and how you felt during early labor, I have never gone into labor on my own, was induced with my other three children, but my OB thinks i have a matter of days and to keep an eye on how i am feeling. So i thought i would post and talk to you ladies to keep myself busy

Before I went into labor I felt fine, just incredibly tired. I labored at home for hours until I finally decided to go in. I had already been to the hospital twice a few days prior and was sent home because I wasn't progressing. I remember waking up around 1am dying in pain and decided to go. I still blame it on that spicy chicken sandwich I had before then

Well, I didn't sleep. I had a horrible back ache and I just knew when I went in that morning for my blood pressure check ( I had pre ecalmpsia ) that they would induce me, and they did.
I just so happened to go into labor naturally before they even started the pitocin drip and didn't end up needing it.
I was so exhausted, but I couldn't sleep. I had horrible back pain, which I know now was actually back labor contractions.
My body felt sore, I remember feeling light headed and kind of weak, but for the life of me, I couldn't sleep.

I felt normal before labor. I didn't have early labor though so I can't tell you how I felt. From my first contraction on I was in full blown active labor

With my 1st daughter, I had no signs of labor. I worked a 12 hr shift the night before, went to bed, woke up uncomfortable because my back was killing me. Turns out I had slept thru the 1st 7 hours or so of back labor and when I finally got out of bed, the contractions hit me hard and I KNEW it was time. The more I got up and moved around, the more pain I was in. I was already dilated to 5cm when I finally got to the hospital. Epidural as soon as I checked in lol
