Because... I can't answer that lol.

I know some states are refuting obamacare, there is still hope. Some people just want the government to have MORE control over us I guess. This is why so many people are pissed Obama's still in office.

I'm confused. Did any of these babies have a chance of survival, or was this similar to terminally ill patients who have no chance of living and are going to die really soon?

Medicaid is for the older citizens. You mean Medicare.

Some people can't afford private insurance (or are denied because of pre-existing conditions), but make too much to qualify for Medicare. Obamacare makes it so that everyone is insured and that these private insurance companies will STOP disqualifying people because of a pre-existing condition.

The people who are so against Obamacare forget that at one point Medicare received a HELL of a backlash, but now it is so ingrained in society. They also forget the millions that are without ANY medical coverage and the millions that were DENIED private insurance because of previous illnesses or did NOT qualify for Medicare because they made too much. What of them?

No, Medicare is for old people. Medicaid is for poor people.

i beleive they were sick, and premature babies adn things like that. and the doctors andparents sat and and "decided" it would be better to just not give them food or water because they were " gonna" die.

Oh wow. That is scary.

I want to work in NICU, and I have heard MANY stories of premies being born two, three months early and still coming out of the hospital strong, healthy and perfectly normal.

I understand about not being able to deny based on a pre existing condition, BUT, some people will not get insurance, pay the fine every year, and then when they NEED insurance, lets say they get told them have cancer, they will go get insurance draining the insurance company of MILLIONS, that they NEVER paid in.

Or what if they need an operation? They will hop on insurance, get the surgery, and then drop their insurance afterwards, driving up insurance costs. My husbands insurance this year went from 300 for an individual, to over 500 a MONTH. For ONE person. For a family? From 1,200 a month to 2,300... The insurance companies are ALREADY raising prices of premiums in anticipation of obamacare.

Welcome to our future. I'll not go as far as I told you so, but look at end of life care in the ACA. Death panels are real! England is doing it now and soon you will see it here.

It would be very, very hard because he gets to choose two new supreme court justices and they would likely say overturning it is unconstitutional.
