Can Gender be wrongly determined ?

posted 30th Nov
Hello Ladies !

So here I am at my 20 week mark and was told by a third technician and a doctor that I was having a girl, yet my instincts tell me otherwise. Can they still be wrong?
If you look at the photo, all the way to the left upper corner on the right lining they said it resembles a "girls thing" and that the rest of that circle is a uterus ! What do you think?

It's very unlikely that 3 techs and a doctor would be wrong. I definitely see a girl in that picture.

theres always a chance that they are wrong, my friend had 2 ultrasounds and was told both times that it was a girl and when the baby came it was a boy. thats why i never buy anything gender specific until the baby actually comes.

Looks like a girl to me. I'm having a boy, and my ultrasound at the point you are at, looked nothing like that. and recently I had another ultrasound to check and see how the baby was growing and we deff saw the boy parts.

But they can deffinatly be wrong, that's why they say stuff like it's indicative of a boy/girl. If in doubt you should see if you can get another ultrasound when you're a little further along.

They told me at 14 weeks I was having a boy, and then another technician told me I was having a girl when I was 18 weeks and then at 20 weeks again another tech told me it was a girl. I will do the 4d when i am little further along just to make sure.
