18 weeks is 5 months pregnant??

What the?! I thought I was 4 months pregnant, then I went to check my weekly baby growth on baby bump and the video said 18 weeks was 5months pregnant!!!

so I started looking other places and it says the same,
I am confused and in shock for some reason I thought I was just now turning 4 months. This pregnancy sure is flying by.
I guess it makes sense when i think of it by my due date (may 3rd) which is pretty much april, especially because all my kids have been at least 4 days early..
and its dec tomorrow.

You are turning 4 months.
You have completed 4 months which means you're now IN the 5th month but you aren't "5 months" until 22 weeks. You don't count yourself any certain amount until you've completed it not just when you're in it.
Like you're 18 weeks bit now you're in your 19th week. You won't be "19 weeks" until you complete the entire week though.

And no that doesn't make sense. From dec. 3 to May 3 is 5 months. Meaning you have 5 months left. Not you've completed 5 months.

Only if you go by the 10 months of pregnancy. Otherwise it is exactly hlfway meaning 4 1/2 months. 5 months is 22 weeks, period. 27 weeks is 6 months and the end of the second trimester. I doubt the 5th month is 7 weeks long.

If you go by the 4 weeks is a month thing then it is 20 weeks. Which is what I go by lol
