night terrors?

What age can they start? My DD has been waking up in the middle of the night just crying. She has done this off and on. I don't know if it night terrors or her teeth. She isn't eating much through the day and constantly pulling on her ears and shoving her fingers in her mouth and chomping down. She is 20 months. She has tubes in her ears. I can't think of what this could be other then night terrors.

She has tubes in but is it possible she can get an ear infection?

DD had to get tubes at 15 months. She's had them for a little over 5 months. I think they are working great but grandparents seem to think it's her ears since she has been staying with them while we try to move.

my youngest was born Feb 3, 2011, so it seems like she is close to yours in age, she has been doing that lately as well, it could be night terrors... i'm convinced my LO's is. My oldest got them at this age... was a phase that lasted a few months, it helped when we put a super dim nightlight in her room, she would atleast be able to see enough in her room to know where she was to go back to sleep without us having to "rescue" her EVERY single time... some nights there is nothing, some nights its 1 time and some its multiple times... hoping for less and less of them, bc man it sucks, esspecially on a night where i close at work, so get home near midnight, finally get to bed at 1am, and she starts up at 2am, and then my alarms going off just before 6am to get my oldest up and ready for the school bus... ugh..

my son is 21 months old and gets night terrors occasionally. He will wake up about 2am and start screaming its horrible and i feel so bad for him but i had them when i was little as well
