How does that work? Do I need to stand there and turn that handle for it to pop? does it pop other then kettle corn? confused... looking for something that pops on its own.

I don't know about that one but we have the Orville redinbaucher (sp) dry heat popper. It awesome. You just put pop corn in plug it in and it goes, to just Hav to have a bowl there to catch it. It's awesome! I'll to find a link for you.

I think that it pops on it's own and the handler is to dump the popcorn that is stuck in the bowl.

The metal pot heats up on the bottom and pops the kernels. The handle is used to dump the popped kernels into the bottom of the maker. The sides aren't glass, they're plastic. I work at walmart unfortunately so i criticize everything there before i buy lol

Personally i don't think it's worth it. It's VERY small and only makes a very small batch at a time. The plastic sides versus glass will end up being a pain in the ass. The plastic with have discoloration over time due to the heat and the light, not to mention the grease. Have you seen one in person yet? Or just online?
