membrane sweeping if doc said 2cm with bulging membrane

I was wondering if doc can do a membrane sweeping if my amniotic sac is bulging

It would be better just to get induced.it would most likely break your water.

If you are already overdue it shouldn't matter. If he accidentally breaks your water that will most likely start labor at this point so you can avoid a medical induction.

Breaking the water is considered induction.because itvdudjt happen on its own.

I know but it doesn't have to involve any pitocin (I meant medicinal not medical oops), this late in the game contractions should start up within a half hour of water breaking intentionally or accidentally .

I had bulging waters/membranes and had two sweeps. one at 39 weeks and one at 40... neither worked. was induced at 41 weeks after I failed my NST. I was 4cm dilated.
