Ovulation question

So I have the My Days app on my phone and that is usually what I go by, at first it was alittle off because I have a 35 day cycle and it was on a 28 day cycle but it quickly learned my cycles and now it seems pretty right on, but I have the countdowntopregnany.com ticker on my profile that is completely different.... It is saying I ovulate today on CD 22 or23 but Monday I had tons of CM that lasted till Tuesday night, and then Wednesday I had cramps and ovary pains so I made sure DH and I BD because that really felt like ovulation, I'm just wondering if that was ovulation or preparing for ovulation, I'm not having any CM today, no pains or anything so I just want to make sure my instincts were right, oh and the My Days app said I ovulated monday and tuesday...which is what I felt

I use the My Days app and it's right on. Tells me exactly when my period is due, and that's when my period starts. I have a 30 day cycle (but like you, it started off as the standard 28 day cycle, but learned my cycles quickly and adjusted). I'd just go by that  

Thanks I will! It's hard to figure out what DPO I am because I don't use OPKs, I just don't know if I should go by when I had a lot of CM or the day I had the cramps and ovary pain, because it seemed like after that day I didn't have anymore CM or pain and everything stopped

I don't really remember cramps... but the CM is something I pay attention to. I'm ovulating today (according to My Days) and I could definitely tell there was an increase in CM yesterday. Fingers crossed  

ALWAYS go by your symptoms over an app. I'd say you Od when you were cramping (the cramp is the luteal cyst popping to release the egg)---MyDays has always been most accurate for me once it had a couple months to adjust to my short cycles (23-24)

Ovulatiom can occur on different days depending on outsode factors, like stress.

symptoms such as cervical mucus, cervical position, basal body temp can help you track your cycles. an app may be accurrate, but only if your body is following the previously thought Rythem Cycle. othetwise it is unable to take in variables unique to your body. Taking Charge of Your Fertility is an EXCELLENT book for women trying to obtain pregnancy, or prevent pregnancy.
