Random Spotting

Yesterday I started spotting light pinkish in the morning. As the day continued it turned reddish brown and got to be a little heavier spotting. No cramping, nothing that made it seem like a period, which it what I thought it was. I just had my period 2 weeks ago but I am breastfeeding and it has pretty much been all over the place. My cycle has tended to be on the longer side lately.

I googled mid cycle bleeding and all it came up with was implantation bleeding. Does implantation bleeding last more than a day? (I've always been under the impression it lasts for a very short period of time, don't know why). Today I woke up with reddish brown spotting again.

I know you all are not doctors, but what do you think this could be?

If you're breast feeding and your cycles are still sorting out it could just be leftovers clearing out. I had 4 periods in 2 months while breastfeeding before quitting and then them sorting out
