induction scheduled for mon

Ok so alot has happened since last post and just wanted some advice. so at first my doc had me schwduled for a csection because baby didnt drop and i wasnt dialating. well at last doc appt on mon i was dialated to a 2 (60-70% effaced) bulging membrane have had lots of cramps but now its slowed down now doc has me set to induce by breaking my water. has this worked for you?

Once your water breaks, there's no turning back.
If it doesn't work, then your doctor will give you some sort of induction medication.

Yeah thats what he said just so worried because it took me so long to finally dialate and ive had on and off bad cramps but thats it. Really wantws to progress on my own.

I'm due on the 24th of dec. But i'm being induce due to pre-e and bp stuff. My last baby was born at 29 wks. Dialated to barely 1. Since you are over your due date the odds may be in your favor that you wont need to have pitocin hopwever every pregnancy is different. I have been induce with all 3 of my kids and have had pretty good experiences. I hope all goes well for you! Is this your 1st?
