Mylicon drops.

LO has been SOOO gassy this week and I can tell it's bothering him. I burp him 5 to 6 times during his feedings and 2 to 3 hours later he gets so gassy that he just cries...I can tell it's hurting him. My mom keeps telling me to get mylicon drops. Have you used them? Did they work? and how do you give them the drops???

I give LO the walmart brand and they work. I just squirt it into his mouth.
Ive also heard that gripe water works to but ive never used it

at walmart are they in the "baby section" or the pharmacy area?

Theyre in the baby section at my wal mart. By all the creams lotions ect...

They can make LO constipated if you give it to them a lot

Ummmm I don't think so. They break down air bubbles which make it easier to pass everything. My Pediatrician had me use these on my daughter when she would get constipated. The off brand is normally in the pharmacy but the brand name is in the baby section. I had two colic babies and swore by them. Just squirt them as far back in his cheek as you can.

Idk. Thats what ive been told. When i gave them to ds at almost every feeding he got constipated & when i stopped he had normal BMs. OP is your baby breast or formula fed

You may have a baby with a milk intolerance. Have you tried a different formula?

That is incorrect. They will constipate, they draw water from the intestinal track. Ask your Pharmacist, they are the ones who know medications.

I actually use the Dr.Browns & although i love them - she still gets very gassy as well.

LO has a Drs appointment next friday so I am going to ask then
