oh no, that is a tricky one there. i watch pitbulls and parolees all the time, and thy always say that sometimes once a dog was used in dog fighting, theres just nothing you can do to reverse that, and at any minute they can go for another pet. but then ive watched it and heard some good stories and happy endings..

I talked to my rescue leader and she doesn't think he's a fighter, might have been a random fight because there's no other scars on him. I decided to get him because there wasn't any other offers and he would have been put to sleep at 3 when he was released, I picked him up at 2:30. but he was/is a house pet, housebroken, knows basic commands, and a true sweetheart, he even sat while I got his food. I was in the same room while he ate and had to do some things and every time I walked away from him, he'd stop eating and follow me until I sat back down my the kennel

I was looking through my old pics and found some of brooke from 3 days old, 2 weeks old(when her eyes opened), and 5 weeks after her first bath

we didnt think her ears would stand up. i didn't even recognize her when i first saw her. i had to scan her microchip to make sure it was the same dog. only one of her sisters had stand up ears when she was adopted out and i see that one on a monthly basis because her adopter works with my mom. im really curious now to see who else of the 8 had stand up ears and who they turned out to look like because brooke is the spitting image of her daddy just has mommies coloring( we suspect there was 3 daddies to this one litter)

Well today i took a nap with DS and let DD play on the computer, I woke up to FIL telling me that the foster wasn't in his kennel in the living room. I looked around and DD is missing too, there's a huge pee spot against the ottoman on the wood floors running down to the toys, and as I walked up the stairs my nose is assaulted with a horrible smell. Yep Winston pooped on the floor and DD's brand new bathing suit, and they are both chilling on DD's bed, both are laying down with DD arm over his neck and she's whispering right into his mangled ear.

It was a cute sight but I was furious, he's not supposed to 1. be around kids and 2. be moving around with the cast on, his leg had 4 breaks in the bone, he needs to be resting

We get to pick ours up april 5 but we will wait until april 6

It'll be 3-5 weeks on monday, but the big worry was that he's afraid of men. That's a big NO   Winston and SO are best friends within minutes of meeting, Winston even prefers FIL over me
