If Simon could he would be snuggled into someone ALL day. He also lets me hold him like a baby, on his back cradled and has no problem with it.

My ex wouldn't get a job so we couldn't afford our apartment... my ex-MIL wanted us to move into her basement apartment, but refused to let me keep Liam (even though he was a sweetheart and they had a huge house, a huge yard, and another dog that Liam got along well with.) ...so I had to give him away, I couldn't afford an apartment for me and LO by myself. I always resented her after that... and I resented my ex, he was such a mama's boy if he just asked her to keep Liam she probably would have let us keep him.

that would really suck to have to get rid of a dog that you love so much, I would resent them too

Here's SO cradling Simon, whenever I'm on the computer Simon will sit next to me trying to get my attention until I pick him up and hold him like this.

OMG! your chihuahua is SOO CUTE! i <3 <3 <3 Chihuahuas! I have 2, 1 long hair and 1 short, and 1 chihuahua/rat terrier mix. I also have a yorkie poo, but my chis are my loves!

that is soo adorable! my long hair chi also loves being held like a baby.

New set of foster puppies. they are 7 week old lab mixes.

From left to right Brielle, Marina, Isaac, Elliot and Salem. Theres one more puppy named Leilani but shes super scared so no pics of her yet.

Aww shes SOO Sweet! whats her story?

So ladies, Im super super excited about something! and I just have to share with you all. So, for one, Those of you who dont like people buying puppies from breeders, Dont hate me, buttttt, Im excited because, Ive been speaking with a Chihuahua breeder since September about a puppy, Well ive been waiting to get one till closer to summer, since its super hard to potty train a chi puppy in the winter, or any puppy really in the winter IMO. And finally, the litters ive been waiting for are all coming up! I get 1st pick out of her next 6 upcoming litters! One is due Feb 15th, another March 15th. Im really super excited about the litter due Feb 15th, because the mom is a tiny 4.5 girl, and the dad is a 5lb Chocolate merle, so.... good puppies could come out of that one. So anyways, just had to share my little excitement, knowing that i may be picking out my next puppy soon, and not only soon, but within the next 48 hrs or less most likely! The breeder msgd me on fb a few hrs ago and informed me that the mamas temp dropped below 98 and that means puppies VERY SOON!

So anyways ladies, dont hate me! I truly do believe in rescueing dogs, and adopting from shelters, but since i have 4 dogs, one of which is a rescue, i wanted my last dog to be from a breeder and one that i picked specifically.

You could probably find a Chi rescue and get a purebred Chi, but I don't fault you for going to a breeder. Looks like we're getting our next dog from a pet store... which I feel so guilty about.


I REALLY wanted to get a shelter dog, but SO found a pug puppy at the pet store (we went in to get a gold fish for LO!) that he fell in love with. I played with her and she had a very good disposition, she didn't chew my purse or shoes (like most puppies do when I play with them.) she was super quiet and friendly. So I gave in when SO begged me  
She's got a scar on her eye and she's been there a while, so she's discounted because they were gonna send her back to the breeder.
So... SO put a $50 hold fee on her and if the vet signs off on her we are probably gonna get her Wednesday.

Her name is Fiona and SO wants to keep the name, so here she is.

I don't have any history on her but she came already housebroken, nails trimmed, and walks really well on a leash, only problems she has is garbage eating and escapes from the backyard. No aggression that I've seen, she's been exposed to kids, dogs and cats, and tested for food aggression and she passed with flying colors! she doesn't even hesitate when a hand in placed in her bowl, she will stop and sit until the hand is gone.
I've had her for a week and I'm totally in love with the little sweetheart, I have a friend interested in her, she just needs to be seen by a vet for vaccines, spay, and chip and she'll be available

awww yay! I know it looks weird to be a foster and yet I still bought a dog   but post pictures when you can!
