OMG! Cheetah and Zebra print dog strollers!?!?! NO WAY! lol i never seen them before. now i MUST look these up right now!
I really want one for my next pup. My 2 chis when i got them, they were only 5 weeks old, and came from a chihuahua horder lady, no really, this lady has 26 Chihuahuas in a mobile home... they all seemed healthy, well fed, etc, and her house was surpriseingly clean, but , 5 weeks was a bit to young to let em go, but she needed em gone, so anyways, when i got them, they were so small and wouldnt eat so we had to bottle feed them and take them everywhere we went. my friend ordered a dog stroller for her older pom, and the pom hated it, so she gave it to me. it was so handy for my2 chis at the time, cause they ALWAYS wanted held and carried everywhere, they hated to walk around ,
Now being my next chi will be atleast 8 weeks when i get it, and it will be summer, im thinkin another stroller might be a good idea, that way i wont have to carry the pup ALL the time. and it will be going everywhere with us.

one person I emailed didn't get back to me, but I emailed someone I know can help, either give advice on what to do or help find a new foster home for her. I really like her and if not for the aggression I'd keep her.

But on the plus side I helped home a dog that's been in the rescue for almost 2 years, she was a older pit/rott mix and a real sweetie, and the couple that was interested in Maddy mentioned that they love rotties, so I got them in contact with the foster home and she went home last weekend  

So I finally talked to one of the coordinators for the rescue, she's going to talk it over with someone and decide what they can do, all the foster homes are full and the one that can work with aggression issues already has a problem dog. So the options are to put her into a house in Chicago the works with aggressive dogs, but they probably have a huge waiting list, or put her down.

Aww I hate to see her put down =(
but then again its like, would she have aggression with a child or adult in a new home?
hmm., its so hard. hopefully something can come of it and it will work out

yeah my biggest fear is that she'll go to a home and if they put some food down and she's steals it, if they try to get it back she will bite. It's only with food that she gets mean, any other time and she's a cuddle bug that burrows under blankets with her favorite toy

Them great dogs always seem to have ONE bad flaw to em.
And with food aggression, its never good.
IDK i guess i say that cause i watch to many shows on animal planet lol. everytime they do the " food aggression " test on them, if the dog shows signs of it, they really dont like that. they always say yes they can still be adopted, but then you gotta adopt them in to a home with no kids or other pets because of the dog harming another dog or child. and i always hear them say how hard it is, because lets face it, about 90% or more of your house holds have other pets or atleast one child. ( thats what they always say on them shows, and i kind of agree ) but it always makes me feel sooo bad for them dogs.

Does anyone have tips on housetraining on older puppy(16 months)? The woman we got Remi from said he was housetrained, but lately no matter how often we let him out he comes in and pisses in the dining room or hallway. We've shampooed the carpets three times since we had Pete as a puppy last year so idk if he can still smell Pete and is just marking his territory or what. It's soooo iriitating and gross since we have carpet. I need some help before I go nuts lol

Hmm. I WISH i could be more helpful on this one, but just some things ive heard or was told helps in this kinda situation, as i said ive never got an adult dog so me myself has never had to deal with it. so if any of these tips dont work, dont hate me lol.
Some people go by the, when they pee in the house, rub their nose in it and put them right outside for a bit. ( I however dont really like the rubbing their nose in it, i think its mean . but however i dont judge people that do it to their pets )
I would maybe say just when he has his accidents, tell him no, and put him right outside.
OR, you could try to crate train him? such as when he pees tell him no, and put him in his crate , then he may associate them accidents with being locked up for a bit.
OR you could just continue to take him out every30 mins or an hr. OR if you see him sniffing like hes gonna go pee in the house, tell him no and take him right outside...
also you could try the pee pads? ive always used them as puppys. but it may work for him, wherever he pees in the house, clean it and lay down a pee pad and as you might know, slowly slowly move it closer and closer to the door every couple days if he uses them. until he learns to go to the door.

as for him marking his territory, that could be it. but if you cleaned your carpets, i would think he wouldnt STILL smell pete, but it is possible.
also, being its a new place that hes not used to, that could be why hes doing it. stress, being in a new home etc. taken away from his old owners could just be causing him to stress.

I have an issue that you may be able to help with:
They were purely inside dogs but 3 months ago my husband passed away and as a result I moved back home. My mother has MS so is very unbalanced and therefore I had to transition them to outside dogs. The problem is Doyle cries all the time, about 10-15 times a day, because he wants to come inside. I thought it would stop a few weeks later but 3 months on he still does it. Anyone have any tips on how to stop him crying? It breaks my heart but I have never given in to him so I don't understand why he keeps it up.

I've tried rubbing his nose in it, taking him out when he does it, and making sure to let him out at least every hour. We don't have a crate near big enough so I haven't tried that or the puppy pads. I'm so frustrated ugh lol my house stinks now and the carpets are already 15+ years old so now they're super gross. Blahhhhhhh lol I wish we had money to just get hardwood then it wouldn't be as frustrating re-potty training haha

ahh you were in my last doggy thread right? When you joined that one you didnt have Lilah, but then you picked her out and gave updates. shortly after you got her though the last thread went down hill lol.
