Frozen pork chops.

posted 30th Nov
They aren't all the way frozen... I put them in the fridge last night, and then set them out on the counter about 4 hours ago. They're still a bit frozen in the middle. Will they bake right? Or should I put them in some water for a little bit to thaw 'em?

I've heard you can put it in a ziplock bag and boil it to defrost meat faster but I've never tried it.

If you are going to defrost in water, do it in cold water not hot....its safer and still gets the job done

I've always done it in warm water. It turns cold right after I put the meat in there, so whatevs

Since I have you guys here   What sounds better? Chedder, jack & bacon pork chops.... or pork chips dipped in bbq sauce, then into Shake & Bake?

Lol.I wasn't trying to be a know-it-all....I was just passing information on ive learned as a nutrition educator. If it works for you, then so be it :-) and I vote bbq sauce with cheese and bacon (even though I know that wasn't an option) just sounds tasty!

I want something crispy, lol. The cheese and bacon thing is one of those pre-packaged seasoning things (so freaking good, Parmesan is the best). But I don't know how I feel about the bacon tonight, lol.
